HAPPY BIRTHDAY G!

today is johnny's birthday and he and mom are spending it at the beach. yep, you read correctly, they finally got away for a few days. which means that i get the job of feeding the animals and watering the yard. boy is that a lot of work. it's super hot here, and i guess it's cold over there. hopefully they'll bring back some of that nice weather.

on another birthday note, this past sunday was mr. k's birthday and monday was thomas' birthday, so happy birthday to you two. and thomas, we still want to take you to the movies with us. hope you had fun seeing phantom planet. and thanks to you for throwing your body in between those girls to break up their fight. what would we do without our thomas. ;)

stupid sonic had to close on us. we're too slow when it comes to ordering. we should call up sonic headquarters and tell them we want to sue for false advertisement since the commercial says they're open till at least midnight all through summer.

and about the merchandise at the concert. $25 for a freakin' shirt? i don't think so. i went to phantomplanetfamily.com and found shirts for $10. they're even glow-in-the-dark...

STORY WITH A MORAL. BYEBYE!

so, an instructor is packing away her stuff from her office. another un-named instructor comes and it happens that this instructor is going to take over this office, not that anyone would want to after the instructor's son threw up all over the carpet in the doorway. well, it appears that if the instructor hadn't been there, all her stuff would be either boxed up by someone else, or thrown out. so, if you haven't learned the moral of the story, take care of your business before someone else does for you.

SPIDERMAN 2

wednesday rolled around and the opening of spiderman 2 with it. we went to the 10:05pm showing, the one playing on screen 9, the big screen. alex treated us. met his sister, and lucia and her younger brother went too. surprisingly, there weren't as many people there as we had expected. probably since there were more people going to see it on the other screen at 9:45. actually, it was playing on a total of three screens. alex bought himself a shirt that they were selling. it was like the shirts the employees wore and we told him that he should act like he worked there. all he needed were some black pants. we had him hold our phones, so he had a total of four phones--his, his sister's, kevin's, and mine. we just hoped that they didn't all go off at once. luckily they were all turned on silent. but just think. alex would be vibrating out of his seat if they all rang. hahaha. and then kevin sat by him and i got sad cause i wanted to sit by him too, so his sister moved down a seat and let me sit on the other side of him. my poor love. he was on the other side of alex. oh well, at least we both got to sit next to alex. it's not all the time that we get to see him and spend time with him. of course, someday he's going to be my dance partner and we're going to save the world by dancing... so get this, alex is pretty serious about watching movies at the theatre. He doesn't move or turn his head for anything. In fact, he only turned his head twice throughout the whole film. Once was when Kevin got up to use the restroom and the next was when some little kid was kicking the seats near us. so, spiderman 2 was awesome. it was way better than the first, and if you haven't seen it, then you should go out and watch it. make sure you see it at the theatre on the big screen, cause it might not be the same if you don't.

well, now alex is leaving super early tomorrow--5am, and we didn't even get to eat at hoagies, play sequence, go bowling, or see two brothers or the terminal (which didn't even come to the theatre here to my disappointment). at least we got to go to spiderman 2 and out to dinner at apple annie's on tuesday.

until next time alex... have a safe trip back. we'll miss you...
