31 DAYS UNTIL I GET TO SEE MY LOVE :(

31 days is a long time, at least when it's before you get to see your love again. :(

this weekend i was down in good ol' porterville again spending time with my love. paty and astrid had bought me a train ticket to come down to attend their grandma's birthday party/family reunion and to take pictures, which was on saturday at 1pm.

friday, i again dragged my love by school, although he did get to eat mcdonalds instead of the cafeteria food. angelica brought out the cd player from the aspc office and put on william hung in the cafeteria. it's funny how many people couldn't believe i had bought the album, yet wanted me to make them a copy. buy your own damn copy, peoples! later, we stopped by vira's office and she put it on in there, then tried the dvd. david came by after class and was sad because vira was receiving more attention than he was. then, he felt bad because vira had dvd capabilities and he didn't.

my love had to work late friday night. :( he had to close. :( i misseded him lots. :(

saturday came around and lovey dovey again had to go to work. :( paty and astrid picked me up around noon and we stopped by wal-mart to pick up some film. they were selling churros outside and paty bought me one, yum yum. then, we stopped by their house, where people were getting ready. we were in their room and astrid left for a bit. she came back and shut the door and said, "those people scare me." i was like, "but they're your family." "yeah," she answered, "but we don't know them and there's a lot of them and i don't like people, remember?" so... the birthday party was kinda long. i had to ask what they were saying, cause of course, it was all in spanish. took a bunch of pictures though. food was good. someone made tamales, the good el salvadorean kind. i got a call from my love, who i told to come by, since he got out from work. he even wore a collared shirt with his tight radiohead shirt on underneath. ;) alberto was trying to get us to go home with them, but kevin was hungry and so we went home instead. it started raining and kevin was watching out the window. his brother drove by and so he called him and found out they were going to round table. stephen and ginny came by to look at johnny's old weight bench mom wanted to get rid of and we went to eat at round table. afterward, we went by blockbuster and then hollywood and ended up renting house of sand and fog and pi. when we got home later, we watched the movie pi before going to sleep.

my love had sunday off from work. yayayay!!! :-D we had breakfast at mcdonalds, saw ryan and jacob, and kidnapped ryan to take him with us to the scicon bbq. the bbq was fun. at least it wasn't pouring like last year. the food was good. their meat with their bbq sauce is the best. plus, they always have those little cups of ice cream. you know, those ones that have the wooden sticks... then, we walked around a bit. we got stickers and stephen stuck one on kevin's butt. we were cracking up at it and the guy who gave us the stickers was caught staring at kevin's butt. hehehe. then, we went to the planetarium and heard a story about the big dipper and then another one about orion. afterward, we stopped by for the raptor show and i got to pet a possum. now i want a pet possum. she was so cute. she can live with my pet penguin and pet wolf. we also saw a desert tortoise, and some raptors. stephen and ginny were ready to leave, but kevin, ryan, and i took a hike along one of the trails, even though it was around 4 and everyone else was leaving. on the way back, saw kevin, who wanted to know where his milk duds were...

after we took ryan back home, we ate dinner at el tap and we saw dolores and amanda, who i haven't seen in a long time. then, before we went to bed, even though we were both really tired and i was falling asleep, we watched house of sand and fog.

monday, we woke up quite early to make it to david's 9am class. more about this at a later time and place... oh, but i got a care package from vira--a large box of easy mac. =n) and david gave me a copy of his talk. :-D carol was out sick, so :(. my love ate breakfast from the cafeteria with me ;), but i was sad cause i already misseded my love. :'(

now it's 31 days until i get to be with my love again and i'm really sad. :'( 31 days is a long time. :( i miss my love...
