SECOND CLASS AND EXPENSIVE BOOKS

ick, ick, and more ick. just got back from buying books for two of my classes and it was $36 for a stupid reader at the copy shop and another $112 for two anthro books from northlight. but hey, i got a $10 gift certificate for spending a total of over $150 at northlight bookstore. yay, yay. whatever. they should've just taken the $10 off my total right then and there, the cheap bastards! someday bookstores will all pay for ripping off poor helpless college students. thanks to bri for taking me by to get my books. now i get to read 5 articles before next week's class. ick again. :P

psyc 307: class was class. lots of familiar faces, not only from psyc 306, but from some of my other classes as well. it was very similar to 306. same professor, so i guess that shouldn't be a big surprise. however, looks like this class might be at least a little bit more interesting and not as boring, as he promised we'd have more class discussion and there'd be less lecture, lecture, lecture. thank god for those evaluations.

now i'm eating a frozen pizza i warmed up in the microwave and waiting around till my next class, the person in society. if luck is on my side, he'll let us out early since it's the first night and we won't have to buy a heck of an expensive book. god, i still need to buy books for two more classes. i'm finally beginning to understand the whole starving college student concept...

latest teachings... books for school are not only expensive, they are the devil!

song lyric/quote of the moment... "existence precedes essence."
