today is my little brother's birthday. he turned 11. however, i will most likely be unable to see him, as i have class tonight. yesterday was mom's birthday. she turned 49. that's old. anyways, i'm just passing the time away here waiting on my student to show up. i can't believe she's not here yet. and she's still not here. hmmm... well, i keep getting more students. however, i only have one more opening, and it's for night students in econ only. anyways, so i missed seeing emily last night. she was worried about her physical science test today. i told her not to worry since they're pretty easy. of course, she hasn't taken ap physics before though. i have to do my homework for chicano drama. hope i don't forget. also, i get to talk to carol today at 2pm, since i didn't get to talk to her yesterday. i have to ask her if i should go to the wedding. kris's brother is getting married feb. 7, 2003 at 3pm at st. anne's and she and anahi came in here on tuesday to ask me if i would take pictures. i don't know. i'll talk to rene' about it today. they went and switched janitors on us. which means that ken will now be working here in the learning center, joe will be in the science and math building, and john will be in the ac building. they didn't need to change. they're just dumb. we got cookies and milk last night. hope there's some left. okay, so she's still not here. i don't know if i should be worried or not. alberto wants me to go to see the symphony concert with his class at the auditorium on wed. the 12th of next month. i don't know though cause first of all, i don't have a ride and secondly, i have to tutor. well, better go now... kinda hungry...
if this is patricia reading this, stop now before it's too late.

it's my birthday tomorrow...

Sunday, January 19, 2003

did you know that on thursday, i took the mississippi quarter for margaret, who works in the cafeteria, since the day before, i heard that she was looking for it for her daughter, and then i ordered a tostada and she had the girl put it on her card. of course i had to go back and thank her and all. then, i sat and talked with paula and then sherry came by and talked with us. then, i went back to the learning center and one of my students was waiting for me and so i helped him with his statistics homework. he's in larry's class. i also went to dr. sabo's memorial thingy. it was nice, but sad, and david and mr. wise played their guitars and david sang the song he wrote. my little brother came over friday night and we worked on some of his homework. he couldn't spend the night. however, he came over again on saturday--emily was over here baking some cakes for steven and minh's birthday party that night and also had to sew some curtains for the youth room--and his dad let him spend the night. emily cut my hair and she even plucked my eyebrows a bit. of course when my friends came by today to pick up their brother, they told me that my hair looks bad, that it looked better before, and all that... so what? what do i care? they wanted to know what i want to do tomorrow, but to be honest, i don't really care to do anything anymore. i thought that this four day weekend was gonna be fun and full of exciting things, but boy was i wrong. anyways, rene' got to see elton john this weekend, so i hope she had fun. damn, i wanna go see elton john. anyways, enough from me. i'd better get back to studying. at least i have that to do...

my apologies, everyone. julie had to get online to check out possible classes and so i was kind enough to let her use this computer so she didn't have to go elsewhere. let's see... today rene', robert, and i spent half an hour cleaning out rene's refrigerator. it smelled so gross. yucky. it was disgusting. yucky yuck yuck. rene' was furious. heads were about to roll. someone--about to die. my god, the suspense is killing me. hey, she was angry, and it wasn't even at me this time. went to stats class though. i was like the only freakin' person there in the class who was there because i wanted to be there. those other students disappoint me. a lot of familiar faces though. anywho... went to the grocery store with mom this afternoon after going by the bank. they're putting in a new drive-up atm machine. hopefully you won't have to open your door to reach this one. there's lots to say, however, i don't know how to say it all. i was hoping to go to the snow this weekend for my birthday, but now i'm thinking that yosemite sounds pretty good now. saw emily today. her new haircut looks nice. i guess she's going to be in phi theta kappa now that she got her scholarship to pay the fees. anyways, on the way back to school, we stopped by jack in the box so i could get something to eat. the people who were in front of us just left without their food, so mom convinced the girl to give us the food so i could bring it to school. now i's gotta find me somebody to eat the food. hmm... ya hungry? last night i saw mrs. mills. it was great to see her. gave her a big hug. she said she'd miss me next year when i'm gone. that many people would miss me. i'll miss her. she's one of the all time greats. gotta go. see ya. laters.

hello peoples! yes, it's me again. what? did y'all think i died and went to hell already? well, you aren't that lucky. anyways, today is the first day back to school and boy was i ready. it was great seeing everyone again--well, most people anyways. it's great to be in both david and vira's classes again. tonight i have physical anthro with mr. osborne, and tomorrow i have macroecon with mr. keele. so there you have it, four wonderful instructors who all have the privilege of having me in their classes one more time. couple a things... no more food in the learning center. rené's refrigerator has mold and smells horrible. vira gives out her syllabus during the second class meeting. angelica took off all the things that were on her backpack--a new look. and then there're the things that never change. like just about everything else. hmm... anyways. no school on friday, as it is an inservice flex day or something of the kind. no school on monday, thanks to good ol' martin luther king jr. and so it leaves my birthday weekend as a four day weekend. yipee!!! of course my birthday falls on tuesday. i'm hoping and praying that paty does not have to work. otherwise, i might have to spend my birthday following her around the movie theatre. (before i forget...yesterday was tons of fun. jess and abby picked up me and julie and we went to visalia to the malls and then to circuit city. abby didn't find what she was looking for, but i found a carrying case for my ti keyboard and calculator. we got back in town around 5 and met mr. goode for coffee at juice and java jungle and sat there and talked to him for about two and a half hours. we were going to go see the two towers, but it started at 7 and we didn't get out of there until a little after 7:30. however, it was a great conversation and we had a lot of fun listening to mr. goode talk about
